STB-WDA Scholarship

Kelvin Huang Jun You graduated in 2009 with a Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Business with Merit from The Tourism Academy @ Sentosa. He recently attained the prestigious STB scholarship to read for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada Las Vegas International Campus located in Singapore. Despite only having in hand an ITE certificate and a diploma from another local polytechnic, Kelvin's determination and commitment to obtain a degree in his field of interest saw him enroll in Temasek Polytechnic's two-year Hospitality and Tourism Business Diploma program. Through sheer hard work, he obtained a respectable cGPA of 3.52. Kelvin attributes his successes in school and in the attainment of his scholarship to the teachers of The Tourism Academy.

SAF Academic Scholarship

Jonathan Ong Zhi Jian graduated in 2009 with a Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Business with Merit from The Tourism Academy @ Sentosa. He was recently awarded an SAF Academic Scholarship to read for a Bachelor of Business Degree at the Nanyang Business School in NTU. Driven by his passion for the hospitality and tourism industry, Jonathan chose to pursue a Diploma in Temasek Polytechnic despite having already completed his "A" levels with Anglo-Chinese Junior College and his "O" levels with Anglo-Chinese School. He graduated with a cGPA of 3.80 and endeavours to utilise the skills he has learnt to contribute to the nation.
