Being on the resort Island itself, The Tourism Academy@Sentosa enjoys the proximity to the pool of human resource from the variety of businesses there. This is something that students can get only from the Academy.

Guest lecturers who are successful executives and senior management personnel in the industry are invited to share their experiences and insights of their specialties, thus helping students appreciate the relevance of and apply their classroom theories and concepts to real-life situations in the real world.

For example, designated topics in "Food & Beverage Operations & Management" can have a forum where panel speakers who are experts in their respective fields share their experience. These panel speakers are management staff from Sentosa's various restaurants and hotels, and are there to share their experiences with students.
